The 2025 NFL Draft is only a few days away, and everyone is wondering who the Cleveland Browns are going to take with the No. 2 overall pick.
Several names have come up as legitimate options for this team, but Travis Hunter’s name has gotten a lot of traction leading up to the draft.
Hunter is, of course, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and is viewed as one of the most athletic prospects in recent history.
He could be a fantastic target for the Browns, no matter if he plays on offense, defense, or both.
Any team in the league would be excited to draft him, and the hype is only building leading up to the draft.
Analyst Field Yates is dialed into Hunter, as he mentioned in a recent video shared by the Browns’ social media team, talking about what Hunter could bring to an NFL organization.
“I’m okay with being blown away, even more than I already was with the player,” Yates said, indicating how excited he was to watch Hunter’s game tape and the skill level he portrayed at his Pro Day.

Whether it’s the Browns or another lucky team across the league, Hunter’s prospect profile reads as someone who could be a perennial All-Pro, and a potential Offensive or Defensive Player of the Year candidate if his game translates to the pros.
It’s unclear what side of the ball he’ll end up playing at the highest level, but fans are just hoping he comes to their favorite team, where the coaches and front office staff can figure out the semantics.
For now, it’s a hurry up and wait scenario with the draft soon approaching.
