The Cleveland Browns lost big today.
In every facet of the game, they were outplayed, outnumbered, and outdone.
It is not hard for anyone to disagree with Coach Stefanski’s assessment of the team.
#Browns HC Kevin Stefanski: "I think we're a 3-3 football team which means we're average across the board. So we've got to get better."

This is a .500 team that should be so much better than it is.
Stefanski’s exact words were:
“I think we’re a 3-3 football team which means we’re average across the board. So we’ve got to get better.”
Kevin Stefanski: We’re a 3-3 team. Very very average.

Not This Bad Since The Kitchens Era
Browns fans have not seen a game so poorly played and executed since the Kitchens era.
Some argued it was a Hue Jackson type of performance.
Just a pathetic showing. More reminiscent of 2017 under Hue Jackson than anything we’ve seen under Kevin Stefanski. An embarrassment. #Browns

The team was flat from the start which was shocking.
They were playing the last undefeated team in the NFL at home.
There should have been plenty of spark and spunk in the effort to dethrone the Cardinals.
Instead, they looked lost.
Kyler Murray looked a lot like Justin Herbert last week.
He had his way with the Browns defense and found wide open receivers.
Sense Of Urgency In Short Week
The Browns need to approach this week with a sense of urgency.
The Denver Broncos are coming to town Thursday night.
They cannot be flat and disjointed from the start.
Of course, the injuries are mounting which does not help the cause.
Watching Kareem Hunt leave the game on a cart was deflating.
#Browns HC Kevin Stefanski on injuries: "Whoever's available to us, we've got to find a way. We've got to be problem solvers."

However, the “next man up” mentality that got them through COVID-19 last year needs to step up.
Speaking of COVID-19, the Cardinals coaching staff was not in full force, and the team still won easily.
Who Are The Browns?
This team has an identity crisis.
For a couple of games, they were offensively sound.
Then, they were defensively dominant for a bit.
They have never been a complete football team playing four quarters of outstanding football.
The season is still young, but the team cannot keep losing games to playoff caliber teams.
If the Browns are in fact a playoff caliber team, they had better show it soon.
