The Cleveland Browns entered the offseason knowing that they had a lot of work to do, roster-wise, ahead of the 2025 campaign.
This team had its fair share of struggles in 2024, and without a completely revamped roster, they might have a hard time competing for the foreseeable future.
Many fans expect the team to go big in the draft, targeting the most vital positions and helping their cause in the short and long term.
The Browns don’t have a lot of cap space to work with, but if they’re smart with their extra cash, they could also sign some valuable free agents over the next several months.
One obvious example of an inexpensive free agent is Nick Chubb, who has yet to re-sign with the Browns.
Fans have been banging the table for the team to bring Chubb back, especially after seeing the viral video shared on X, where he was spotted back-squatting well over 500 pounds.

Chubb is viewed as one of the strongest running backs in the league for a reason, and while injuries have held him back lately, this video is a sign that he’s healthier than people think.
With that in mind, the Browns could ink Chubb to a contract worth next to nothing given the risk of re-injury, which could be a great deal for all involved parties.
Chubb could have a role in an NFL offense again, and the Browns could get a leader back in their organization, someone who could provide immense value on and off the field.
